These are the first images of the proposed new 6 storey building to be built on the site of the former Theatre One cinema on Ford Street. GKP Developments submitted an outline planning application to Coventry City Council in November. The new building will comprise of 55 student apartments.
Interesting. I think this’ll look Okay in that spot – it’s tallish, and will dominate over the ringroad as well.

Unfortunately it seems that there is no other viable use for these patches of land. Look at its location… It’s stuck between the bus shed and the ringroad!
